About the Role
HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join their team. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment and systems; replace defective parts as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and prevent failures
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending necessary repairs, improvements, and upgrades
- Clearly present pricing, value, and benefits of recommended services
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and expectations
- Complete all assigned work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of HVAC industry experience (commercial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC theory, tools, methods, and equipment
- Must provide basic personal hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and drawings
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, reach, and handle heavy equipment as required
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
