About the Role
Taste City is seeking experienced, professional bartenders to join its opening front-of-house team at SFO Terminal 1. The role involves creating a welcoming and efficient bar experience for travelers, delivering great drinks, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced airport restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages to spec
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests at the bar and counter
- Operate the POS accurately and handle cash/card transactions
- Verify guest age and follow all alcohol service laws & policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, glassware, and supplies
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and composure during busy rushes
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine & bar service standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Excellent guest interaction and communication skills
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual
- Flexible availability — early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays
