About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide respectful, person-centered support to residents in their daily activities, including eating, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming, following individualized care plans.
- Assist residents with communication tools and sensory aids to help them stay connected and engaged.
- Ensure residents have easy access to mobility and assistive devices to promote safety and independence.
- Offer ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, including oral and dental care, to contribute to residents' comfort and well-being.
- Encourage residents to participate in individual or group programs offered by the Resident Engagement Team.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
- Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Detail-oriented and skilled in delivering safe, effective bedside care, including simple treatments and care procedures.
- Communicate with tact and professionalism, building positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and visitors.
