About the Role

The Quality Control Coordinator ensures transportation and warehousing operations meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role oversees quality assurance, conducts final inspections, manages document control, and leads auditing activities to implement corrective and preventive actions, minimizing risks and enhancing product reliability. The coordinator collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives to support customer satisfaction and organizational success.

Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee final inspections of products and materials to verify compliance with established quality standards and product specifications.
Manage and maintain document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date quality records and audit trails.
Perform internal and external quality audits to assess adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Identify non-conformances and lead the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and logistics personnel to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the transportation and warehousing processes.
Monitor materials testing procedures and results to validate product integrity and performance.
Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and recommending process enhancements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the transportation, warehousing, or logistics industry.
Proven knowledge of quality systems, auditing procedures, and document control practices.
Strong understanding of product specifications and materials testing methodologies.
Experience with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
