About the Role

The Mortgage Lending Specialist is responsible for first and second mortgage sales, focusing on timely responses to inbound inquiries from digital or branch leads.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt initial response for mortgage lending inquiries in accordance with goals with a focus on delivering an exceptional member experience.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM as primary record of contact.
  • Conduct a consultative review to uncover and analyze member needs and provide an appropriate solution.
  • Set member expectations, explaining mortgage programs and processes.
  • Gather and review member documentation prior to submission to the Fulfillment Center.
  • Maintain an understanding of FourLeaf mortgage program guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Identify inter-departmental cross sell opportunities.
  • Manage a pipeline of purchase and refinance loans.
  • Act as the single point of member contact between the fulfillment center, settlement and service vendors.
  • Responsible for individual KPIs which contribute to the financial success of the organization.
  • Comply with all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulatory requirements as it relates to this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related experience.
  • 1+ years in a sales or telesales.
  • Prior lending experience a plus.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System licenses.
  • Computer Skills: Windows, Internet proficient and MS Excel and Word skills.
  • Proficient in Mortgage Cadence, cView, OSI and Salesforce.
