About the Role
Provide project/program support and perform a variety of moderately complex clerical functions, including data gathering, analysis, coordination, and reporting. This role works under general supervision to support a supervisor or department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field-based ethnographic observations in community and service settings, documenting implementation processes and identifying emergent themes.
- Recruit, screen, consent, and enroll study participants in accordance with IRB-approved protocols and trauma-informed practices.
- Administer structured surveys and other study instruments using REDCap or other approved platforms, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Distribute participant incentives, including ClinCards, according to study protocols and institutional policies.
- Support and facilitate PhotoVoice sessions, including preparing materials and guiding participants through reflection activities.
- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with participants, community partners, site staff, and research team members.
- Assist with day-to-day field operations, including scheduling, tracking attendance, preparing materials, and troubleshooting logistics.
- Follow all research ethics, confidentiality, safety, and mandated reporting procedures.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, trainings, and debriefs to support data quality, field safety, and fidelity to study protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
- Strong analytical ability, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Must be organized, detailed-oriented, dependable, and flexible.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding design and implementation.
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
