About the Role
Drive sales efforts in the designated territory by implementing sales and marketing strategies for PackGene’s products and services. Leverage experience and professional network to develop and deliver profitable initiatives and achieve assigned financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals for the assigned territory.
- Generate new business and expand the customer base through direct customer visits and project management.
- Manage pipelines and close opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and match PackGene’s services and products.
- Share market intel with Tech Support and Marketing teams.
- Conduct customer visits, attend conferences, and build customer relationships.
- Drive business expansion in collaboration with technical support and project management teams.
- Build and expand a business reference network.
- Identify market trends, assess market potential, and develop strategies.
- Provide timely customer support and interface with internal resources.
- Lead webinars and innovation meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in life science disciplines.
- 1-5 years of relevant sales experience.
- High level of technical and professional expertise.
- Knowledge of the Biological and CRO or CDMO market or general biotech industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage sales pipelines and accurately forecast sales.
- Team player.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Action and execution oriented with the ability to work independently.
- High degree of interpersonal savvy, organizational agility, and managerial courage.
- Ability to work across regions and multiple functions.
- Proven track record in identifying market trends and establishing action plans.
- Sales driven and results oriented with enthusiasm, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to multi-task and manage resources.
- Regular travel by airplane and automobile is required.
- Ability to communicate orally, individually and in front of a group.
- Regular use of telephone and e-mail for communication.
- Sitting for extended periods is common.
- No heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.
- Good manual dexterity for using office equipment.
