About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Support a welcoming environment for guests and team members while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, store team members, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and facility concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity, incident, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
