About the Role
Under the leadership of the department director and/or assistant director, the staff physical therapist is responsible for supporting the Hospital's mission by providing quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages. Services include examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions to reduce patient disability, as well as prevention and wellness services. The physical therapist collaborates with other professionals, educates, engages in critical inquiry, and supervises support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages.
- Examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to reduce patient disability.
- Provide prevention and wellness services.
- Collaborate with a variety of professionals involved in patient care.
- Educate patients and families.
- Engage in critical inquiry.
- Direct and supervise physical therapy support personnel.
Requirements
- Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment of patients requiring the applicable skill.
- Must complete and pass all annual competencies.

- $54.16 to $72.43 per hour
- Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $3.87
- Hourly Night Shift Differential: $5.81
