About the Role
Performs skilled carpentry tasks related to general construction, installation, and maintenance to support project completion. Applies technical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements, secure assemblies, and high-quality workmanship. Works collaboratively with other team members to maintain productivity and uphold DPR’s safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Performs general carpentry work including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials.
- Reads and interprets drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Operates hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components.
- Inspects completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
- Communicates with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges.
- Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Follows DPR safety policies and procedures on all assigned work.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in carpentry or a related field required.
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification required.
