About the Role
ADS Group and Farnborough International are seeking an experienced Head of Data & Analytics to lead their digital and data transformation. This leadership role involves defining and delivering the group-wide data and analytics strategy, developing an enterprise data platform, establishing data governance, and creating a self-service analytics environment. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape data utilization, act as a strategic leader and technical expert, and oversee the analytics roadmap, reporting ecosystem, data architecture, and AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the Group-wide data and analytics strategy.
- Lead the development of a modern enterprise data platform.
- Establish robust data governance and quality frameworks.
- Create a self-service analytics environment.
- Oversee the Group's analytics roadmap, reporting ecosystem, data architecture, and AI initiatives.
- Lead and develop the Data & Analytics team.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency, commercial growth, and organisational performance through analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading enterprise data and analytics functions.
- Strong track record of delivering modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Expertise across data engineering, architecture, governance, and analytics.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, and Python is essential.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and information lifecycle management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical, value-driven data solutions.
- Experience developing high-performing teams.
- Experience delivering meaningful business outcomes through data.
