About the Role

Minerva University is seeking an experienced Marketing Analytics & Insights Consultant to identify new opportunities to increase qualified leads and applications through smarter, more effective digital marketing. This role requires a seasoned digital marketing expert, researcher, strategic analyst, and implementer who can assess the current marketing approach, understand the landscape, identify gaps, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Minerva's marketing and enrollment funnel, including strategy, channel mix, campaign performance, lead generation, conversion rates, and historical trends.
  • Analyze current marketing spend, resource allocation, reporting, KPIs, attribution methodologies, and data sources.
  • Identify gaps in data quality, tracking, attribution, and measurement, as well as existing agency, vendor, technology, and martech relationships.
  • Rapidly identify high-impact opportunities and sources of leakage or inefficiency.
  • Serve as Minerva's dedicated researcher, source of external marketing intelligence, and marketing implementer.
  • Research and analyze competitor digital marketing strategies, positioning, messaging, search visibility, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Identify emerging digital marketing channels, audience trends, market opportunities, content strategies, and SEO/AEO opportunities.
  • Analyze relevant changes in digital marketing technology and practices, higher education acquisition trends, and broader consumer acquisition trends.
  • Develop clear insights on market changes and recommend strategic adjustments for Minerva.
  • Analyze marketing performance, including lead generation, lead quality, application generation, conversion rates, cost per lead/application, channel, campaign, audience, and geographic performance.
  • Examine website and landing-page behavior, search performance, and historical trends.
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for further investigation.
  • Identify opportunities to increase leads and applications without increasing marketing spend, such as improving organic search, website conversion, content development, campaign targeting, audience segmentation, campaign optimization, messaging, re-engaging prospects, developing referrals, identifying underutilized channels, and improving Marketing-Enrollment-Admissions connection.
  • Synthesize research, data, and market intelligence into clear recommendations for Minerva leadership.
  • Develop concise, compelling presentations and reports that turn research and analysis into actionable implementation.
  • Present findings to relevant teams, explaining key findings, supporting data, market trends, competitive insights, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.

Requirements

  • Significant professional experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, marketing strategy, or digital marketing consulting.
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and how major acquisition channels work.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and emerging AEO/search strategies.
  • Experience evaluating digital marketing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Ability to work independently and quickly in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to move from research → insight → recommendation → action.
  • Experience in higher education, education technology, student recruitment, or another complex acquisition environment (preferred).
