About the Role
Assured Information Security (AIS) seeks a Security Operations Manager/Facility Security Officer responsible for security management, Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties, and supervision of the Security Department. This role ensures compliance with national and federal security directives.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of physical, personnel, and information security.
- Supervise department security professionals, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
- Advise Program Managers and staff on security guidelines and the development of plans to meet customer requirements.
- Interface with government security officers, AIS program managers, and supporting staff on security matters.
- Develop and implement an effective Security and Education Training Awareness (SETA) program, including OPSEC, Insider Threat, Foreign Travel, SPP, and SOP.
- Conduct annual self-inspections, document findings, and submit to the appropriate CSA, while hosting periodic security reviews.
- Oversee adherence to classified storage, annual classified inventory, classified media control, reproduction/destruction, and visitor control programs.
- Monitor reproduction, duplication, and destruction capabilities.
- Report adverse information to the appropriate CSA.
- Maintain and update fixed facility checklists (FFC) and other required facility documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 8 years of industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Defense Information Security System (DISS).
- Experience with National Background Investigative Services (NBIS).
- Experience with Industrial Security Facilities Database (ISFD).
- Experience with Electronic Facility Clearance System (e-FCL).
- Experience with Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS).
- Experience with Automated Access Control (AAC).
- Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
- Experience with Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) for FSO.
- Requires a Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
