Responsibilities
- Coach Varsity/JV/Unified Basketball teams
- Develop student athletes' skills, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Foster teamwork, leadership, and academic development in high school athletes
- Encourage maximum participation and enjoyment of play in modified programs
Requirements
- New York State Coaching Certification
- Valid First Aid course
- Valid Adult CPR certification
- Completion of Child Abuse Identification workshop
- Completion of School Violence Intervention and Prevention workshop
- Completion of Dignity For All Students Act (DASA) workshop
- Fingerprint Clearance
- School District Recommendation
- Pass a fingerprint-based background check
