About the Role

The Fulfillment Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately packing, processing, and shipping customer orders containing printed materials, promotional products, and warehouse inventory. This role also assists with warehouse activities such as loading/unloading freight and deliveries, and receiving materials into the warehouse system. This position plays a critical role in ensuring orders are completed and inventory is received accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment. Training will be provided on company systems, fulfillment processes, shipping procedures, quality standards, and workflow expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pack and prepare customer orders for shipment according to job specifications and company standards.
  • Verify order accuracy, quantities, packaging requirements, and shipping details prior to shipment.
  • Process daily shipments using shipping software, carrier systems, and internal production workflow tools.
  • Package products ranging from small envelopes to larger boxes while ensuring materials are protected during transit.
  • Assist with fulfillment operations including kitting, sorting, labeling, wrapping, and assembling customer orders.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces while following safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Production, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve order questions and meet deadlines.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, or potential issues as shipments arrive and leave the facility.
  • Assist with inventory organization, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities as needed.
  • Follow established processes and contribute ideas for improving efficiency, accuracy, and workflow.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary to support production deadlines and customer commitments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, printing, or production experience preferred.
  • Forklift operation and Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems and shipping software.
  • Ability to read and interpret job instructions, packing requirements, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and committed to meeting customer deadlines.
