About the Role

The Associate Director oversees department operations and resources to ensure optimal results and high employee engagement, adhering to institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations within assigned department, using data and fact-based problem solving to improve processes and outcomes.
• Ensures all operations run according to institutional and departmental policies and in accordance with government or regulatory requirements.
• Develops, maintains, and reconciles departmental budget with financial responsibility and oversight.
• Plans, develops, and/or maintains departmental standard operating procedures, regularly reviewing and recommending changes as necessary.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, networking, and professional societies.
• May provide leadership and ongoing training for junior staff members.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s in MPA, MPH, MBA.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Case Manager and five (5) years as a clinical nurse.
• Previous supervisory experience in Case Management or related field.
• Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
• Professional Certification preferred (CCM, ACM-RN or CMGT-BC).
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
