About the Role
EAC Network is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician/ Case Manager to support Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Populations. This role provides essential services including identification, screening, treatment planning, case management, and court reporting for mentally ill clients within the Mental Health Treatment Court Mental Health Enhancement Project.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison to the courts and correctional facilities.
- Provide case-finding and screening services for defendants.
- Refer clients to appropriate treatment and arrange transportation when necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive case documentation, including progress notes.
- Assist clients with applications for public and private benefits.
- Manage a caseload and monitor client participation in treatment programs.
- Conduct periodic visits to treatment facilities and maintain accurate logs.
- Prepare and present written and oral status reports on client progress to the criminal justice system.
- Investigate and arrange supportive services for clients.
- Conduct educational and/or supportive groups.
- Perform drug testing on clients as needed.
- Conduct timely visits to treatment and correctional facilities.
- Act as a resource to staff for guidance in treatment planning.
- Train and supervise interns and volunteer staff.
- Assist supervisor with administrative tasks related to program management.
- Perform other duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in forensic psychology, mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, calendar, email, and/or database software.
Skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work cooperatively with treatment and criminal justice systems.
