About the Role
East Holmes Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian with an interest in exotic animal medicine to join our team in Berlin, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals, from traditional companion and farm animals to unique exotic pets, allowing you to build a career around the medicine you love.
Responsibilities
- Small animal wellness, sick visits, surgery, and dentistry
- Equine and large animal medicine and preventative care
- Exotic pet appointments and medical management
- Treat rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, birds, and other non-traditional pets
- Preventative medicine and client education
- Diagnostics and soft tissue surgery
- Develop and grow an exotic animal caseload
- Collaborate with a supportive, experienced veterinary team
Requirements
- DVM/VMD licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio
- Passionate about high-quality medicine and compassionate patient care
- Interested in mixed-animal practice
- Excited about exotic animal medicine
- Strong communicator and team player
- Curious, dependable, and eager to continue learning
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Mentorship and support provided for developing skills and growing caseloads for those with a strong interest in exotic or mixed-animal medicine
