About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report access concerns and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as directed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily reports while communicating professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
