The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining a safe healthcare environment by handling confrontations, providing issue management and support, and safeguarding employees, patients, visitors, providers, and property. This role involves responding to alarms, emergency requests, de-escalation tactics, and resolving safety incidents, including managing agitated individuals.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of Security Officer experience in lieu of education requirement
- One year experience in a Security related field (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record if driving a vehicle while working, or a valid NYS ID Card
- Must meet requirements of New York State Security Guard Licensing program and successfully pass within 3 months of hire
- CPR/Basic First Aid Certification (within 3 months of hire)
