About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to make technical tools a pleasure to build with. This hands-on engineering role involves building sample projects, owning documentation, and providing feedback to tool owners.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain sample applications, reference integrations, and client libraries.
- Own developer documentation, including getting-started guides, API reference, tutorials, and troubleshooting.
- Act as the first technical point of contact for developers, diagnosing and resolving integration problems.
- Represent developer needs by reviewing API and SDK design and advocating for improvements.
- Create technical content and deliver talks, workshops, and office hours.
- Build and maintain supporting tooling for onboarding, including test harnesses and diagnostics.
- Track developer challenges and recurring questions to prioritize fixes.
- Raise the standard of technical writing and interface design, mentoring others.
Requirements
- Substantial professional software engineering experience with production code shipped in a mainstream language (C#, C++, or Python).
- A track record in developer relations, developer experience, solutions engineering, or a comparable role.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build SDKs, APIs, or developer tooling.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Strong teaching and presentation skills.
- Comfort working across teams and influencing engineering decisions.
- A service-minded approach to support work and the judgment to identify product issues.
