About the Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and processing incoming material, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving material in the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that items are correctly and securely packed for shipment.
  • Prepares shipping labels and documents for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinates with delivery team for timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Receives, unloads, and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Checks received goods against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Reports any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
  • Efficiently picks and packs orders according to established procedures.
  • Organizes and maintains inventory and project storage in an orderly manner.
  • Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
  • Utilizes space efficiently and maximizes storage capacity.
  • Operates warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Performs routine maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Able to work collaboratively in teams.
  • Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to demonstrate communication skills with the warehouse team and other departments.

Education Level

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
