About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by providing one-on-one personalized care and support. You will deliver services that meet each client’s unique needs in a safe and caring environment. We are looking for PSWs for a new client requiring care 7 days a week, 8 hours per day. We hope to find 2–3 PSWs who can work together to divide the days and provide consistent coverage.
Responsibilities
- Assist with morning and evening care routines.
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a comfortable home environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands.
- Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks.
- Follow and update care plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Covid vaccinations.
- Hoyer lift experience.
- Bedbound client experience.
- Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- Reliable internet access and a mobile phone.
