About the Role

You will help write the playbook for a new kind of Decision Management System by staying close to customer decisions, investigating relevant public and internal sources, and using AI to gather, test, and synthesize evidence. You will break down messy problems into manageable building blocks, design and test workflows, and translate findings into clear, sourced accounts and defensible recommendations.

Responsibilities

Understand the decision by getting close to the customer and learning their current processes.
Investigate and frame the problem by finding and assessing internal and external information.
Design and build the workflow by breaking the problem into skills and building blocks.
Put working ideas in front of users, explain the reasoning, and learn from their feedback.
Turn what works into a repeatable product and method for the next decision.

Requirements

Experience taking an unclear business or customer problem and figuring out what needs to be solved.
Ability to investigate across multiple sources, assess source quality, distinguish fact from inference, and identify conflicting evidence.
Experience working directly with customers or users to understand their needs and translate insights into action.
Ability to think clearly and communicate complex work to different audiences.
Sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with engineers and get hands-on with tools, data, APIs, automation, or AI.
Demonstrated use of AI tools to investigate, analyze, synthesize, prototype, automate, or solve a real problem.
Experience turning an idea, hypothesis, or insight into something tangible, testing it, and learning from the results.
Ability to explore divergently, then impose useful structure.
Ability to move between customer, evidence, technology, and action while keeping sight of the decision.
