- Determine in-house, agency, and creator production models and manage the video budget.
- Establish standards for briefing, review, rights, and asset reuse.
- Set and maintain the quality bar for all video content under the Figma brand.
- Approve briefs, conduct creative reviews, and coach cross-functional teams on video production.
- Partner with Brand Marketing Technologist to define, instrument, and report on video performance metrics.

- Proven track record of creating and running recurring video franchises that grew an audience.
- Experience owning an end-to-end production model, including in-house vs. agency vs. creator decisions, budget management, and partner relationships.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including hiring, developing, and providing feedback to video production staff.
- Fluency across various video formats, from short-form social to long-form storytelling and customer narratives.
- Ability to set and maintain a creative bar for work produced by others without becoming a bottleneck.
- Comfort acting as the video subject matter expert in senior stakeholder meetings.
- Judgment to disagree productively and measurement literacy to defend decisions.
- Hands-on editing or motion graphics ability (added plus).
- Experience with live event and conference content at scale (added plus).
- Familiarity with music licensing, talent releases, and usage rights (added plus).
- Experience building creator and influencer partnerships (added plus).
