About the Role
A new buy-and-build platform is being established in the professional services market with a leading private equity investor. enomyc serves as the initial platform company, laying the foundation for this growth strategy. The group aims for sustainable growth through strategic acquisitions and integration of additional companies in the coming years. We are seeking a Senior M&A Manager to independently manage the entire M&A process and actively drive the buy-and-build strategy with the investment team.
Responsibilities
- Independently implement the buy-and-build strategy in close collaboration with management and investors.
- Identify, analyze, and approach suitable acquisition targets.
- Manage the entire transaction process, from initial contact through due diligence to signing and closing.
- Coordinate and manage all relevant workstreams (Financial, Legal, Tax, Commercial, and M&A).
- Prepare and conduct management meetings and negotiations with entrepreneurs, shareholders, and advisors.
- Create company valuations, business cases, financial models, and investment memos.
- Negotiate LOIs, share purchase agreements, and other transaction documents with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support post-merger integration and the continuous development of the buy-and-build strategy.
- Potentially assume further responsibility in building the M&A department.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance.
- Experience in independently managing complex M&A transactions.
- Very good knowledge of financial modeling, company valuation, and due diligence.
- Experience in managing various transaction workstreams and working with internal and external advisors.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, high initiative, and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a confident presence at management level.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region.
- Ideally, experience in a buy-and-build platform or the professional services sector (not a mandatory requirement).
