About the Role
ImageFIRST is seeking a Maintenance Technician with critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to join their team due to tremendous company growth. This role is crucial for maintaining production equipment, facility systems, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and support equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently while minimizing equipment downtime.
- Support equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns before failures occur.
- Perform general building maintenance including basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and facility repairs.
- Maintain production equipment, work areas, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.
- Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance projects as assigned.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and departmental procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work environment.
- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and report safety concerns promptly.
- Support ImageFIRST's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.
- Assist with ordering and organizing maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
- Properly maintain maintenance equipment and company tools.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Operations, and fellow Maintenance Technicians to support production goals.
- Participate in technical training and continuously develop maintenance knowledge and skills.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Working knowledge, education or experience in one or more of the following areas: Electrical systems, Mechanical systems, Hydraulic & pneumatic systems, Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Welding, Piping systems, PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
- Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required.
- Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds.
- Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
