About the Role

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to contribute to building the world’s premier cloud computing platform. This role involves operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-platform international manufacturing environment, working closely with ODMs, CMs, internal AWS teams, and component vendors to scale manufacturing processes and achieve throughput and quality targets. The engineer will serve as a technical contact, taking full ownership of manufacturing launches and process issue resolution, driving production scaling globally and owning PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process flows throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across Contract Manufacturers (CM), Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis.
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time).

Requirements

• 2+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Experience with the project management of technical projects.

• 136,000.00 - 184,000.00 USD annually
