About the Role
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their most valuable asset: time.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed.
- Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Paint facility areas as directed.
- Replace burned-out light bulbs.
- Apply absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Check and ensure the proper operation and condition of safety items, gate arms, and ticket spitters.
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Operate maintenance equipment such as automatic sweepers, scrubbers, weed eaters, and lawnmowers.
- Remove snow from entrance and exit ramps and designated areas.
- Report any observed violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
- Practice customer service standards to ensure positive customer interactions.
- Assist customers and resolve complaints.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties as needed.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the complete uniform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
- May require facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience and/or skills training.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record if required to drive a company vehicle or on company business.
- Ability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be a requirement.
- Speaks clearly and listens effectively.
- Writes clearly and informatively.
- Maintains a positive attitude and responds to service requests.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment and handles unexpected events.
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
- Reacts well under pressure.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.

- Regularly required to use hands and fingers, communicate with customers and employees.
- Frequently required to sit, reach, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, turn, stretch, and bend.
- Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
- Must be able to move in a relatively quick manner.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to withstand working with dust, chemicals, and other irritants.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
