About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, waiting areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
