About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and documenting activities as required.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
