About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and community-focused Deputy Retirement Communities Manager to support residents in our vibrant Retirement Community at Coopers Court. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of housing services, fostering positive relationships, and promoting a thriving environment for both residents and staff. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to reinvesting in our people and services, helping you grow and feel valued.
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of housing services, ensuring compliance and safety
- Build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, volunteers, and the local community
- Assist with tenancy management and help residents understand their rights and responsibilities
- Support the Retirement Communities Manager with managing and marketing voids
- Promote social activities and encourage use of communal spaces
- Maintain accurate records and systems for effective service delivery
Requirements
- Passion for creating welcoming communities for older people
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers
- Experience in housing or a similar customer-focused environment
- Confident using IT systems
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding and pre-employment checks, including enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check

- £30,008.55 Rising to £31,595.85 per year after 12 months once proficient
