About the Role
Manage legal matters, provide legal advice, translate legal requirements and effectively communicate with business and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to executives, managers, and employees on various legal issues and matters.
- Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and accurately reflect the company's intentions.
- Identify and assess legal risks faced by the organization.
- Provide guidance on employment-related legal matters.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder relations etc.
- Manage relationships with external law firms, legal service providers, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Utilize specific legal area expertise (example, Corporate, Data Protection, Employment).
Requirements
- Advise executive members on new laws, existing ones, and legal rights that would impact the functionality of the business.
- Oversee all aspects within this sphere, including acting as its representative.
- Maintain knowledge about the company's documents and operations.
