About the Role
As a Product Owner for Personalization and Business Configurator, you will drive outcomes, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to strategic analysis to enable informed decision-making for the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert on users, their needs, and desires through various research methods.
- Define the mid-term technology product development roadmap, key features, and manage development cycles.
- Develop and monitor metrics to track product success and inform future iterations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvements.
- Maintain alignment on vision, strategy, and performance with firm-wide goals.
- Create and maintain a product vision, road-map, growth opportunities, and product backlog.
- Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for new functionalities.
- Mitigate impediments impacting team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Set direction for Agile development teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and definition.
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development.
- Assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes.
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories.
- Research and analyze the market, users, and product roadmap.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with business and systems requirements processes.
- 5-7 years of product owner experience or relevant business work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services or wealth management industry.
