About the Role
Operate automated packaging equipment, keep production moving, and ensure every package meets high standards for quality and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment and production lines
- Perform machine set-ups, adjustments, and product changeovers
- Inspect products for quality, accurate coding, and proper sealing
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns when needed
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Follow food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety requirements
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Work with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to keep the line running smoothly
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
