About the Role
Come be a vibrant Recreational Aide and make a difference in our residents’ lives.
Responsibilities
- Interact with residents and understand their needs and limitations with respect and empathy.
- Develop, lead and engage in diverse activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities including but not limited to, arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music sessions, outings, Holidays and special events.
- Encourage the participation and social interaction of residents during group activities.
- Monitor the behaviors and outcomes of an activity ensuring positive feedback and engagement.
- Provide individual attention and planning to residents based upon his or her needs or interests, honoring residents’ requests is our specialty!
Requirements
- Responsible, dependable and enjoys leading group activities.
- Experience with seniors is a plus.
Work Type
- Full-time (30 hours)
- Part-time (20 hours)
