About the Role
This role supports Information Security team members in various security initiatives within a mid-sized banking institution. The position involves daily security log/alert review, phishing mailbox monitoring, testing new security initiatives, and assisting with user access provisioning and de-provisioning.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily security log/alert review including follow up and investigation when appropriate.
- Monitor and analyze the internal phishing mailbox and elevate when assistance is necessary.
- Perform testing and document new security initiatives.
- Assist with the user access provisioning and de-provisioning process.
- Assist and/or complete risk assessments tied to vendor management and new technologies.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
- Perform any job-related tasks assigned by any member of the Information Security department with oversight from the Director of Information Security.
Requirements
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
