About the Role
Muriel Siebert & Co., LLC is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its growing Investment Banking group. This is a high-exposure seat on a small team where the Analyst works directly with the Co-Heads of Investment Banking on live transactions from pitch through close, with responsibility and client contact well beyond what a typical analyst role offers at a larger bank. Given the strong deal pipeline, work will be almost entirely transaction related in a collegial friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of capital markets transactions, private placements, and M&A advisory mandates
- Build and maintain financial models, comparable company analyses, and transaction economics
- Prepare pitch books, board presentations, investor materials, and internal committee memos
- Conduct company, industry, and market research to support origination and client meetings
- Assist with due diligence, including review of financial statements, filings, and company materials
- Coordinate with clients, counsel, and internal teams (capital markets, operations, compliance) throughout the deal process
- Work directly with equity and debt sales team on live transactions
- Manage deal administration and workflow on active mandates
