About the Role

Support and manage Nike Swim Product strategy for EMEA, aligning with brand, equity, and financial targets. Collaborate with Account Managers to optimize sales and profit through strategic customer support and SMU requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Inform and implement EMEA product offer.
  • Define, inform, and develop Nike swim ranges based on consumer understanding, brand values, market dynamics, and distribution.
  • Interpret analysis and research to influence global product development for EMEA growth.
  • Adopt EMEA product ranges against targets for revenue, profitability, brand equity, and storytelling.
  • Contribute to short and long-term business planning for product and category.
  • Create and deliver pricing strategies considering consumer expectations, competitive landscape, and company margins across multiple currencies.
  • Initiate and manage Special Make Ups (SMUs) throughout the process, liaising with relevant partners.
  • Manage territory-specific ranges and create recommendations for key regions, distribution channels, and customers.
  • Manage and assess product-specific needs for EMEA regional partners (distributors).
  • Manage the product feedback process to all functions.
  • Provide administrative support for smooth market implementation.
  • Perform timely and accurate product lifecycle management (PLM) NuOrder set-up, maintenance, and management.
  • Manage sample orders, sample management, and sample distribution.
  • Create and maintain Style Master, price lists, line lists, and other range planning tools.
  • Own and manage the Merchandising calendar.
  • Deliver the line to market via optimum sell-in to internal partners.
  • Monitor and analyze seasonal performance and key KPIs (pre- and post-launch).
  • Support key account sales meetings with compelling sell-in arguments and tools.
  • Facilitate forecasting and buy meetings in collaboration with planning.
  • Control, recommend, and amend the Core range in line with sell-out and market dynamics.
  • Ensure cross-functional support and alignment.
  • Build strong relationships with the Global team to shape product offer.
  • Collaborate with Planning on stock level and lifecycle management.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with Marketing to align product and marketing strategy.
  • Partner with sales, distributors, and key customers to support assortment planning, anticipate consumer preferences, and exploit volume opportunities.
  • Join commercial teams for market visits and sell-in appointments when required.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with regional peers to align and support Nike Swim's global position.
  • Understand the demands and strategic positioning of Nike Swim as part of the Nike brand.
  • Act as the go-to person and expert on all product-related subjects, proactively sharing product information.

Requirements

  • Proven track record operating in a merchandising, product management, or range planning capacity within footwear, apparel, or sports equipment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of multi-currency pricing, retail math (margins, sell-through, markdowns), and EMEA trade dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to present, negotiate, and collaborate across matrixed international teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to undertake domestic and international market travel as required.
  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the United Kingdom.

Skills

  • Proficiency in PLM software
  • Proficiency in range planning tools
  • Advanced Excel capabilities for data manipulation
  • Familiarity with B2B wholesale platforms, such as NuOrder
  • Working knowledge of specific EMEA distributor networks
