About the Role

Lead the earliest stage of a new client engagement, working out what's possible and building a proof of concept for a delivery team to scale from. This role involves hands-on technical work and direct client interaction.

Responsibilities

Turn client goals into solution architecture and technology choices.
Build proofs of concept that validate the design and hand off cleanly.
Define the agentic engineering pipeline, including tooling, workflows, and guardrails for AI coding agents.
Set the quality approach, including testing and code review.
Conduct knowledge transfer through pairing, establishing patterns for the client's engineers.
Produce architectural decision records.

Requirements

Experience using AI agents to build production software.
Track record of breaking down poorly defined problems and shipping working solutions.
Experience working with and presenting to clients directly.
Clear written communication, especially ADRs and documentation.
Consulting, professional services, or forward-deployed experience.
Practical approach to architecture, suitable for POC, pilot, or production.
