About the Role
The School-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services, including evaluations, assessments, treatment, and therapy, within the assigned school district. This role involves collaborating with school personnel to assess and coordinate services, and participating in student and family activities during and after school hours.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and related documentation.
- Provides at least 25 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, and family intervention, including off-site visits.
- Promotes integrated, person-centered care.
- Generates and monitors proper communication with internal and external stakeholders and maintains records of communications.
- Serves as an on-call clinician on a rotating basis.
- Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice.
Requirements
- Minimum of one-year experience and licensed (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT).
- NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred.
- Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families.
- Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based interventions.
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet session productivity standards.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Ability to reach, walk, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, kneel, lift up to 20lbs.
- Able to travel.
- Driver's license preferred.
