About the Role
Lone Star Court is seeking outstanding talent to provide exceptional customer service. We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team members have the supplies, linens, and equipment needed to maintain guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards.
- Assist with the delivery of linens and amenities.
- Respond to housekeeping requests.
- Maintain storage areas.
- Help ensure the cleanliness and organization of back-of-house and public spaces.
- Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to housekeeping closets and work areas throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly to requests from Room Attendants, Supervisors, and management for supplies, equipment, and guest items.
- Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recycling from guest floors to designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels in housekeeping closets, storage rooms, and linen areas.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of rollaway beds, cribs, and other guest-requested items.
- Deliver guest amenities and fulfill special guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with special cleaning needs as assigned.
- Attend required monthly department meetings.
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees.
- Comply with assigned training and engage in job duty rehearsals with management.
- Use assigned technology device consistently to operate hotel systems such as Alice, StayNTouch, etc.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all equipment is maintained in proper working condition.
- Report any safety or security concerns immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Display courteous behavior with guests and team members.
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition.
- Attend required meetings.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Occasional sitting.
- Frequently standing/walking, up to 8 hours a day.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of linens, towels, amenities, supplies, trash, recycling, and housekeeping equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to maneuver housekeeping carts and equipment throughout guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Works productively with a team.
- Effective multitasking skills.
- Composure and patience under pressure.
- Must be comfortable using devices to communicate with team members and to complete checklists daily (i.e. Alice system.).
