About the Role
Lone Star Court is seeking outstanding talent to provide exceptional customer service to its guests. Join an award-winning team at a unique hotel in Austin, TX, and be part of Valencia Hotel Group, known for its modern design and classic character.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm and caring bar and restaurant service, ensuring guests' needs are promptly and efficiently met.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests.
- Promote and up-sell liquor and food.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all liquors, drink recipes, prices, proper glassware, and garnishes.
- Adhere to guidelines regarding age identification for suspected minors and dealing with intoxicated customers.
- Attend required meetings.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees.
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately.
- Maintain hotel equipment in proper working condition.
- Perform any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred.
- Communicates effectively with others.
- Works productively with a team.
- Effective multitasking skills.
- Maintains composure and patience under pressure.
- Skilled in working with multiple computer programs.
- Must obtain TABC and Food Handler's Certifications.
