About the Role
Sprinter Health is seeking dynamic Nurse Practitioners to revolutionize healthcare delivery by conducting virtual wellness visits directly to patients in their homes. Leverage your medical expertise to offer a wide range of healthcare services, including virtual adult and/or pediatric wellness visits and health assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual wellness visits
- Perform health assessments
- Review patient caseload and prepare technology
- Navigate daily schedule using modern technology
- Partner with in-home clinical team members (Sprinters)
- Make connections with diverse patients
- Collect relevant information and perform various services
- Engage in proactive care by conducting thorough health risk assessments
- Perform medication reviews
- Conduct cognitive screenings
- Empower patients with educational information regarding their health and well-being
- Work with Sprinters to evaluate vital signs
- Arrange blood draws
- Carry out necessary tasks to address patient needs
- Provide comprehensive care coordination and management
- Implement preventive care interventions
- Manage medications
- Make referrals to specialists and community resources
- Document findings
Requirements
- Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner License in TX, LA, or OK
- Exhibit the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability, confidentiality, care, and compassion
- Willingness to work in a revolutionary environment that necessitates last-minute problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking
- Technologically savvy and comfortable using laptops or mobile devices for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Pass national background check
- Pass valid clinical license search
