About the Role
As a Rides Maintenance Technician, you are the backbone of our park’s magic. You aren’t just fixing machines; you are guaranteeing smiles, adrenaline rushes, and unforgettable family memories. If you are a skilled troubleshooter who lives for a "safety-first" culture and loves diving into complex electromechanical systems, your next great adventure starts here.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot advanced electromechanical systems on amusement park rides, automated animation, and specialized attractions using manufacturer manuals.
- Operate machine tools including drill presses, power saws, grinders, hydraulic presses, metal shears, torque wrenches, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Ensure total compliance with internal safety procedures and established ASTM, NEC, OSHA, state, and local electrical codes.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, work orders, and inventory tracking within an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
- Tackle specialized projects and new challenges as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to study and learn complex amusement attraction maintenance using a structured training program.
- Proven hands-on experience installing, servicing, and maintaining electromechanical equipment.
- Deep familiarity with the best-practice tools and diagnostic methods used to troubleshoot industrial machinery.
- Strong practical math skills.
- Comfort with using iPad tablet to complete work orders with an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, stand and walk across varied park terrains, and comfortably lift, carry, or pull at least 50 pounds.
- Experience working with industrial machinery, processing/distribution systems, or heavy conveyor networks.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
