About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Support a welcoming environment for riders, visitors, and employees while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to transit personnel, passengers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Monitor access points and assist with directing passengers and visitors in accordance with location procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and observations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
