About the Role
The Irrigation Technician position is primarily responsible for the operation and repair of the irrigation system to ensure proper water distribution for optimum turf health, maintaining the golf course to reflect outstanding quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate and repair the irrigation system.
- Ensure proper water distribution for turf health.
- Maintain the golf course to reflect outstanding quality.
- Demonstrate preparation for the day's work by arriving in uniform and with a positive attitude.
- Understand daily job assignment charts and their relation to daily play.
- Recognize various equipment applications and make proper selections for job assignments.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the game of golf, its rules, and expected playing conditions.
- Function as a member of a team to accomplish established goals.
- Carry out all golf course maintenance tasks with pride and ownership.
- Adhere to established quality guidelines for daily course conditioning.
- Inspect all tools and equipment before, during, and after use.
- Operate all equipment safely and with care.
- Report any equipment damage or lack of performance to a supervisor.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the work order system for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
