About the Role
Seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Building Projects to join our Rochester, NY Office. This role involves developing concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports, working both independently and as part of multi-discipline teams.
Responsibilities
- Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects.
- Function as a project electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases (proposal, design, bidding and construction).
- Perform code reviews.
- Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
- Meet with external and internal clients.
- Perform building condition assessment reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with 3+ years working at an A/E consulting firm is required.
- Autodesk Revit proficiency is required.
- EIT or PE license is preferred.
- Experience in electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, and utilities, as well as communications, security, and fire alarm systems are desired.
