About the Role
Regional International is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse/Shipping Coordinator to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain stock levels, and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Unload and check-in incoming orders, matching items to packing slips and noting discrepancies.
- Post items to the KARMAK business system and bill committed parts.
- Coordinate all interbranch orders, both incoming and outgoing.
- Schedule special deliveries or pick-ups with drivers.
- Determine appropriate shipping methods for outgoing items based on size and weight.
- Pick orders for Retail and Internal Parts Specialists, labeling and billing them.
- Check and maintain stock levels and stock incoming items.
- Ensure all paperwork is routed to the appropriate department.
- Safely operate motorized warehouse equipment according to guidelines.
- Complete all required training within the specified timeframe.
- Assist with special projects or other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months general work experience.
- Valid New York State Driver License.
- Willingness to learn and be certified in operating motorized warehouse equipment.
- Ability to use a personal computer and Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to learn other database or proprietary software programs.
- Ability to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good judgment, problem-solving skills, and adapt to change readily.
