About the Role
This role is responsible for inspecting and repairing guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. It requires basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical skills, along with the ability to climb ladders and maintain detailed records. The position is located on Manhattan’s Billionaire’s Row at a proud union property known for its exceptional guest and team member-centered culture, outstanding retention, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Inspect guestrooms, public spaces and back of the house areas for repairs.
- Utilize basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical experience frequently.
- Climb ladders up to 30 feet high and reach in all directions, often overhead.
- Maintain detailed records in English for logs and inspection sheets.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push/pull and lift/carry items frequently throughout the workday.
